PERSONNEL

The staff of EMTEC has training and experience in all phases of environmental engineering and consulting services including, but not limited to; environmental permitting; initial site inspections; hazard assessments; evaluation of remedial options; cost estimates; project designs for remediation; construction documents (plans and specifications); project oversight; air monitoring and close-out inspection and documentation. Furthermore, EMTEC provides a wide range of services to the insurance industry including, but not limited to; structural evaluations; lightning damage assessments; structural design and repair recommendations and cause & origin investigations for water infiltration/damage.

JOHN HATCHETT: PRESIDENT — JOHNH@EMTECCONSULTING.COM

Mr. Hatchett has over twenty five (25) years of experience in the environmental engineering and consulting industry. Mr. Hatchett began his environmental career working with northwest Envirocon as an industrial hygienist, and then started his career with Engineering Management Consultants Corporation (EMTEC) in 1997 as an industrial hygienist. Mr. Hatchett furthered his training and experience while working with EMTEC while specializing in Asbestos, Lead, Phase I & Phase II Environmental Site Assessments, Hazardous Waste/Chemicals, Fungal Contamination Evaluations, Indoor Air Quality Evaluations and Stormwater Management Plans.

Steven Smith: Vice President — stevens@emtecconsulting.com

Mr. Smith began his career in the environmental engineering and consulting industry in 2009. Mr. Smith specializes in the oversight and preparation of all Environmental Permitting relating to Stormwater Management Plans, Spill Prevention Control & Countermeasure Plans, NPDES Permits and Air Permits, in addition to performing Structural Evaluations, Cause & Origin Investigation in relation to Water Infiltration/Damage, Lightning Damage Assessments and Structural Design & Repair Recommendations.

A.E. Johnson, Jr. P.E. — emtec@emtecconsulting.com

Mr. Johnson has over fifty (50) years of experience in civil, structure and environmental engineering and consulting. Mr. Johnson began his career working with the Federal Highway Administration, then continued working as the Assistant Chief Engineer with the Arkansas Highway and Transportation Department. After completing his career with the AHTD, Mr. Johnson formed Engineering Management Consultants Corporation (EMTEC) in 1985. Mr. Johnson specializes in performing Cause & Origin Investigations for foundation, structural and roof system issues. Mr. Johnson is also assists in the preparation of Stormwater Management Plans, Spill Prevention Control & Countermeasure Plans, NPDES Permits, Phase I & II Environmental Site Assessments, Air Pollution Control Plans (Air Permits), Underground Storage Tank Removal & Remediation, Wastewater Analysis, Environmental Site Clean-ups, Environmental Audits and Environmental Site Clean-up.

Daniel Fosters, Jr. P.E. — danielf@emtecconsulting.com

Mr. Foster has over twelve (12) years of experience in the environmental engineering and consulting industry. Mr. Foster began his environmental career working with Engineering Management Corporation (EMTEC) in 2010. Mr. Foster furthered his training and experience while working with EMTEC while specializing in Asbestos, Lead, Phase I & Phase II Environmental Site Assessments, Fungal Contamination Evaluations, Indoor Air Quality Evaluations, and Storm Water Management Plans.

John Malkowski, P.E.

Mr. Malkowski has over fifteen (15) years of experience in the remediation and environmental consulting industry. Mr. Malkowski has extensive experience with remediation of petroleum based products related to underground storage tanks, etc. Mr. Malkowski has extensive experience with the following remediation technologies: air sparging, soil vapor extraction, multi-phase extraction, bio sparging, bioaugmentation, cometabolism, enhanced bio sparging (PHOSter technology), pneumatic fracturing, chemical oxidation, ozone injection, and natural attenuation. Mr. Malkowski is a U.S.M.C. Veteran. MOS 5923: H.A.W.K. Fire Systems Control Technician. He received a degree in electronics from the U.S. Army Air Defense Artillery School located at Fort Bliss, Texas.

Office Assistant: Ms. Williams has been with EMTEC since 2000. Ms. Williams is responsible for EMTEC’s accounting and Record Keeping.
